The individual responsible for the $46 million KyberSwap hack has threatened to delay negotiations for the return of funds if hostilities from KyberSwap executives and tokenholders continue. They plan to release a statement regarding a potential treaty on November 30, but only if they are treated with more civility. The KyberSwap team initially proposed a bounty deal where the hacker would return 90% of the funds, but later threatened legal action when the hacker did not comply. KyberSwap has already recovered $4.67 million from operators of front-running bots. The team has not yet responded to the exploiter’s latest message and is waiting to see the proposed treaty. The hacker exploited funds from various networks, including Avalanche, Polygon, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Base. KyberSwap operates on Kyber Network, a blockchain-based liquidity hub.
